Who runs The Makers’ House?
Jaime Bridges is the lady behind all things online for The Makers’ House and you will usually find her at the shop on most days. Jaime is supported by a lovely team of volunteers, if you visit you may well also meet Liz, Louise or Lauren. You will always have a warm welcome so please do pop in and say hello.
Where are you?
We are situated in small housing estate near to Fareham Leisure Centre. You can find us using our Postcode PO16 7NU. As you come down Arundel Drive you will see a row of shops, including a Spar. You will find us next door, tucked in the corner!
Where can I park?
We are part of a row of shops with plenty of free parking spaces outside the front of the shop.
Can children attend all your workshops?
Many of our evening workshops are designed for adults, however if your child would like to attend please get in touch. We do have a minimum age for some of our more technical classes for safety reasons, this will be stated in the description so please check with us before booking.
Do you offer Gift Vouchers?
Yes! You can buy vouchers online or drop us a message and we can arrange it for you - we can even package it beautifully and send it directly to the recipient with your message!
Is the shop wheelchair accessible?
The front access, shop and workshop area is completely wheelchair accessible with ramps at the front door. Unfortunately our toilet is not wheelchair accessible.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
When you book a class or a workshop please be aware that bookings are non refundable. The good news is you can transfer your space to another person so you are welcome to offer it to a friend, just let us know.
If you do need to cancel your class please get in touch as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. If you can give us 7 days notice AND we are able to fill your space at the same class we may be able to offer you a refund at our discretion (minus a £5 admin fee)
