We love our sewing and dressmaking classes at The Makers’ Corner, watching people growing in confidence and creating pieces they are proud of is one of the best things in our day. For Jaime, it is where much of the creativity started at the age of 12 on an old Singer found in the loft, and we are big believers in playing and having fun, not just taking up trousers and adapting curtains!

From our 121 beginners sessions where we demystify that scary looking machine together, through to our practical project classes which focus on new skills while creating useful things, there is something for everyone, however long you have been sewing! We are also developing our range of embroidery and hand sewing kits and classes, so if the machine isn’t your thing, there is still something for you!
